By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • understand the basics of what happens when we give AI access to an engineer’s, scientist’s, or researcher’s actual working environment
  • know the most common security risks when AI agents have their hands on their data
  • know ways to minimize such risks
  • understand basic considerations with respect to cybersecurity and privacy when using AI for their work
  • reason around questions about what we should allow AI agents to see, do, change, and decide
