Answers to common questions about Train the Trainer.

1.Is this course for me?

The course is for anyone who is interested in becoming a trainer or instructor, or in improving their training skills. It may be very helpful to you if you have questions like these: How does learning work? How do I make my teaching more engaging and effective? How should I adjust my teaching to different types of learners? How can I assess whether learning is happening? What is the best balance between theory and practice?

2.Does the course cost anything?

No, there are no fees for this course.

3.How many participants can attend?

A maximum of 25. If there are more applications, priority is given to applicants from SciLifeLab infrastructures, institutes and organisations across the Nordic research community, and to participants from Nordic ELIXIR nodes.

4.How is the course delivered?

The course is delivered online over Zoom, with the course pages in Canvas, a learning management system. The course is highly interactive: please take an active part in all sessions.
