Format
Before the call:
- A video (approximately 30 minutes) of expert-led content will be provided along with any suggested materials or reflective questions.
During the call:
- The cohort will split into discussion groups, and discussion will be led by an assigned postdoc moderator.
After the call:
- After the discussion, the postdoc moderators will collaboratively generate a short news piece (maximum 1000 words) representing the Future Leaders’ Perspective.
- The PULSE communications team will help in publishing this piece on SciLifeLab channels. If the piece is of particular interest and suitability, it may also be submitted to journals or news markets.
The format of these discussions is designed to build skills in negotiation, moderation, collaboration, critical thinking, and public communication.
The moderator role will rotate with each discussion and each postdoc is expected to contribute to moderation and writing once per year.
